| First, the material passes the coarse screen. Here, cardboard and cardboard boxes are separated. The post-connected SEP-O-MAT Fine Screen removes disruptive material and small foreign parts. Depending from the required sorting depth, fine screens can be used as single unit or one above the other in cascade arrangement.
Combined with a DOS-O-MAT Feed and Metering Hopper with Moving Floor Conveyor, the rotor screens become a complete waste paper sorting plant. The hopper is charged in intervals according to demand and presents the material fully automatic and in metered condition to the rotor screens. One satisfied customer in Austria started working with a SEP-O-MAT Waste Paper Sorting System in 2000. Since then, more than 1.5 million tonnes waste paper have been processed with this plant.
