Im 2011, two big German recyclers equipped their waste paper sorting plants with sorting technology from BRT.
The input material can be fed in bulk, or in bags or even in bales. Although so different, all material will be presented to the sorting process in a metered, loosened up and evened out condition.
The proven SCHLITZ-O-MAT Bag Openers and DOS-O-MAT Feed and Metering Hoppers were adjusted to these requirements and a bale opening function was added. SEP-O-MAT coarse screens separate cardboard boxes and large cardboard. Fine screens, also in cascades, separate small pieces of paper from the valuable de-inking papers.
